My $200 Debt...Help!!! ;_;posted Dec 27th 2008, 11:48PM
Mood: Disturbed
Ohmygod. I am in so much trouble. Don't ask me why but I have accounted a debt of more or less US$200 when converted from Philippine pesos. I don't know if that's a lot for a student in other countries but it is for me. I've calculated that it will take me approximately 5 whole months to save up that much money from my small allowance (roughly about US$3 a day for 5 days every week), and I won't even be able to save 100% of it because I still have to spend money in commuting to school. I honestly cannot and will not blame other people but myself (although I'm 10000% sure that I have nothing to do with it) because that money was my responsibility in the first place. :(
Now, I really need your help. I'm so desperate I could sell all my clothes just to get that money. But, I can't do that or else I'll be in bigger trouble with my mom. So I'm looking for people to commission me a character each instead, for US$5 (excluding Paypal fees) a piece. They will be digitally done in full color, and the dimensions will not exceed 4.25x5.5in or half a short bond paper. Any character, original or fanart, will do. Payment is through Paypal and I will send the finished piece through email.
Ohplease ohplease help me. I've never asked for help before in something like this but I'm in so much need right now. I swear to do my best in the commissions. So please help me. :( :( :(
And yes! I like girls haha! I thought college would get me over my "phase" (since I came from an all-girls school), but noooooo. Girls are too nice and cute and magical to resist~~
Hmmm. At least, that's what it is for me. I mean I don't have to go to a dorm 'coz I can easily commute from my house to the university (1 hour though, booooo). And my professors aren't too strict about attending classes as long as you get the work done. It probably has something to do with Fine Arts not being as serious a college as others like Law or Math...I dunno. But it's fun. College is fun and full of freedom. Downside: so much effing work to do. Nothing like high school. Profs don't care whether or not you have a ton to do already, they just keep giving stuff to finish.
I dunn owhat kind of college to go for yet. A fien arts college would be too...limiting, I wanna major in psychology and Ebglish too~! And me and my friend want to go to college together, and she wants to go on the East coast somewhere (I have to admit, that'd be pretty win >D) near te ocean...and I need somehwere where it snows >D I'm feelin' liek New York. Or Rhode Island xD
You know up until third year high school I wasn't thinking of taking up Fine Arts. I actually wanted to take Accounting so I can work in this bank where you can choose not to pay taxes haha. But when senior year came around I realized that drawing was just one of two things I could do for the rest of my life (the other one is writing xDDDD) so that's how the decision of my course came about. It seems limiting but not really, at least not in my major (Visual Communication or Advertising in other universities) because we get to do everything from painting to making commercials. Limiting majors would have to be the super focused ones like Painting and Sculpting, which are too heavy for me haha. :) :)
Ooooohhh snow.I've never seen snow haha. And I don't think I can stand up to it coz when it got to 10 degrees here a few weeks ago I really hated it. The cold is not my friend, LOL. The sun is number one.
I love your shading! ^^ Art trade, hm..? xD I don't do nearly as many colored images as you do, that's for sure. I really like the grace in your images. They all flow so beautifully.
thank you very much~ though honestly, shading has always been the biggest challenge for me when I'm coloring
an art trade would be nice, teehee. that is, if you're interested. a sketch trade would be more preferable to me right now since I will be busy soon.
I think your shading is beautiful! So your effort really shows. ^^ I'd love to do a sketch trade. I can belt one of those out for you no problem. Who would you like? I'm home all day!
I looked at your stuff--they're pretty good, i have to watch you back~
erm, umm, do you know Vampire Knight? hehe i just started reading it myself yesterday but anyway if you know it I'd like to ask for a sketch of Kaname. any position/outfit/concept will do, as long as he remains as gorgeous as he already is.
